Tunisia delegation examines Jordan experience in combating trafficking

AMMAN — A delegation of Tunisian officials participated in a study tour of Amman from February 28 to March 3 to examine the Jordanian experience in the field of protection of trafficking victims, especially in managing governmental shelters, according to a statement released by the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) this week.
The visit, which was facilitated by the IOM missions in Tunisia and Jordan, focused on sharing experiences on the institutional and legal frameworks governing protection of trafficking victims and shelter management. It also identified opportunities for strengthening cooperation between both countries in the field.
