AMMAN — The Cabinet on Saturday decided to establish specialised units in each ministry to recruit Jordanians according to job market needs in their field.
Such units will coordinate with other public institutions to follow up on the local market’s actual needs of qualified workers to be filled by Jordanians with the suitable degrees, skills and qualifications.
The decision aims to link education outputs with the employment needs in coordination with the Higher Education Ministry, the Civil Service Bureau and the Department of Statistics.
During a meeting, the Council of Ministers tasked the Labour Ministry with training heads of human resources departments at the concerned ministries on the duties related to recruiting Jordanians.
