FM, Bahrain counterpart talk ties, region

AMMAN — Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi on Monday received Bahraini counterpart Abdul Latif Al Zayani, according to a Foreign Ministry statement.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed means of advancing cooperation between the two kingdoms in various fields to “enhance brotherly ties and serve common interests”, as per the directives of the two countries’ leaderships.

Safadi and Zayani reviewed the latest regional developments, with talks covering means to resolve regional crises and serve Arab issues, as well as enhancing security and stability.

The two sides also stressed ongoing coordination and consultation over means of activating cooperation towards regional developments, according to the statement.
