King receives letter from Abbas

AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah on Wednesday received a letter from the Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, expressing his thanks and appreciation for the importance he gave to the Palestinian cause during the Arab Islamic American summit in Riyadh, according to a Royal Court statement.
In the letter, Abbas also expressed his and his people’s pride and appreciation for His Majesty’s honourable stand and historic position in supporting the Palestinian people, their cause, and in protecting the Palestinian holy sites.
