Ruseifa residents protest demolishing of their homes

ZARQA — A group of Ruseifa residents held a sit-in on Saturday outside their houses, which were demolished last week for being built on Treasury-owned land.
The houses were destroyed upon a complaint filed by the Jordan Hijaz Railway Corporation (JHRC).
MPs Mohammad Thahrawi, Qusai Dmeisi and Rudaina Ati met with the home owners in the presence of JHRC Director Salah Lozi and voiced their commitment to finding a solution that satisfy all parties.
