Workshop held for journalists covering local elections

AMMAN — The Centre for Defending Freedom of Journalists (CDFJ) is holding its third workshop for journalists covering the local elections, according to a CDFJ statement issued on Thursday.
Fifteen journalists from southern governorates are taking part in the three-day workshop, held in the Petra Marriott Hotel.
The workshop is aimed at preparing journalists to cover the elections and clarifying the differences between the local and other elections.
The participants will also learn what the regulations are for journalists covering the different stages of the elections, as well as how to deal with sources, according to the statement.
